The extension doesn't connect to TradingView

Make sure you are on a TradingView chart page (tradingview.com/chart/...). Try reloading the page (F5) and then opening the extension popup. If it still says "Abre TradingView", go to chrome://extensions, disable and re-enable Quant Trident, then reload TradingView.

No parameters are detected

Open the strategy settings dialog first (click the gear icon on your strategy), then click "Detect" in Quant Trident. The settings dialog must be visible on screen when you click Detect.

Metrics show 0 or dashes during optimization

Make sure the "Strategy Report" panel is expanded and visible at the bottom of your TradingView chart. The extension reads metrics from this panel. If it's collapsed or on a different tab (like "List of trades"), metrics won't be read correctly.

Optimization is very slow

Each iteration requires TradingView to recalculate the strategy, which takes 2-5 seconds depending on chart timeframe and data. You can reduce the number of combinations by using larger step values or optimizing fewer parameters at once.

Can I use this with any strategy?

Yes, Quant Trident works with any Pine Script strategy that has adjustable inputs in the settings dialog. It supports numeric inputs, boolean toggles, and dropdown selectors.

Is my data safe?

All data stays in your browser. Quant Trident does not collect, transmit, or store any data externally. Optimization results are saved locally using Chrome's storage API.
